What's involved in Adopt-A-Street participation?
Dania Beach Residents volunteer to remove litter from an adopted street four times a year for one year. (Streets are half-a-mile long or more.) Broward County provides organizational help, cleanup supplies, free disposal and recognition signs displaying the name of the group. A Group Leader coordinates cleanups between the group and Keep Broward Beautiful. Adopt-A-Street is a collaboration between Broward County, participating cities and volunteer groups.Adopt-A-Street is a Broward County Go Green project.
