Join us for a festive evening filled with holiday magic as we kick off the season with a ceremonial Christmas tree lighting. Capture the spirit of the holidays with pictures with Santa, creating lasting memories for the whole family.

Indulge your sweet tooth with free delectable treats that will delight your taste buds. Glide gracefully on our ice skating rink, providing frosty fun for all ages. The event's atmosphere will be electrifying, thanks to live entertainment that will keep you entertained throughout the evening.

Hungry? Savor a variety of culinary delights from our food vendors, offering an array of delicious options to satisfy your cravings.

Creating a dynamic and high quality live performance experience, our dedicated female fronted cover band is filled with talented and young up and coming cover performers that are ready to take the world by storm! Developing a unique chemistry between themselves and your guests, our party band will infuse sweet, soulful vocals with electrifying instrumentals that will kick in their "wow" factor experience with ease. Providing your special event with the greatest dance mixes around, our talented cover band are sure to keep your guests talking for months to come.


UGLY SWEATER COMPETITION

To participate in the Ugly Sweater Competition and show off your most festive sweater, we invite you to visit the Dania Beach stage in front of our City Hall entrance at approximately 7:00 PM when the emcee announces the competition.

Additionally, it's worth noting that the Ugly Sweater Competition will kick off immediately after the North Broward High School Band concludes, so be prepared for a lively and entertaining spectacle of creativity and style.

We have a special category just for the kids, so they can display their unique sweaters and join in the fun. 

FREE ACTIVITIES 

Get ready for a family-friendly adventure that will make Light Up Dania Beach memorable. Our Holiday Activities offers a delightful array of activities and attractions for FREE throughout the festival. Here's what you can expect:

  • Ice Rink
    • Socks are required; can purchase for $2
    • Vendor will provide Adults and Children skates and helmets 
      • Vendor only has sizing up to Men's size 11.

PARKING

The City of Dania Beach is also offering complimentary parking and shuttle service from the Dania Beach Casino to City Hall. This shuttle will run continuously from 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
