SUBJECT: RZ-063-21: The applicant, Leigh Robinson Kerr & Associates, Inc., on behalf of Franmar Properties of South Florida LLC, is requesting rezoning of property generally located on the north side of Southwest 42nd Street, between Anglers Avenue/Ravenswood Road and Southwest 22nd Avenue from Single-Family 6000 Residential District (RS-6000) and General Business District (C-3) to Industrial-Research-Office-Marine Airport Approach (IROM-AA).
The following is the proposed Ordinance of the matter:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST MADE BY LEIGH ROBINSON KERR & ASSOCIATES, INC, AGENT FOR THE PROPERTY OWNER FRANMAR PROPERTIES OF SOUTH FLORIDA, LLC, TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN RAVENSWOOD ROAD AND SW 22ND AVENUE NORTH OF SW 42ND STREET, DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, AS LEGALLY DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT “A”; CHANGING THE CURRENT ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY FROM RS-6000 AND C-3 TO IROM-AA (APPLICATION NO. RZ-063-21), SUBJECT TO CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Please be advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by Local Planning Agency, the Planning and Zoning Board or the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, such person will need a verbatim record of the proceedings and for this purpose such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to based. The City does not provide or prepare such record pursuant to F.S. 286.0105.
