Dania Beach Finance Budget

The Finance Department is responsible for all financial reporting for the City of Dania Beach, including the citywide annual operating budget and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Each year in September, the City approves its annual budget, effective for the fiscal year starting October 1 and ending September 30.

The City of Dania Beach utilizes the ClearGov platform to offer detailed insights into our finances and provide constituents the ability to navigate our budgets, expenditures and financial strategies digitally.

Budget Award Dania Beach Accomplishments 2021
The City of Dania Beach is very proud of the fact that the Finance Department has achieved the Certificate of Achievement For Excellence in Financial Reporting for the past thirty-two (32) years, which shows the high levels of expertise and professionalism have remained a cornerstone of the Department’s leadership team. The Department has also started to receive the Distinguished Budget Award for the past three (3) years, which is only awarded to government’s that show the highest quality that reflect both the guidelines established by the National Advisory Council on State and Local Budgeting, and the Government Finance Officers’ Association’s best practices on budgeting, whilst exceling as a policy document, financial plan, operational guide and communications tool.
