Public Services
The Public Services Department enhances the quality of life within the City of Dania Beach by providing essential services that support its resident’s needs. Public Services is committed to making sure that residents receive some of their most essential services - street management, landscape and ground maintenance, utilities, water and wastewater, trash and recycling — in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
The Public Services Department provides a variety of services directed toward the repair and maintenance of municipal equipment, properties, and infrastructure. The maintenance functions include street maintenance, street lighting, building maintenance services, vehicle and equipment maintenance, landscaping, ground and irrigation services. In addition, the department is responsible for related activities such as solid waste collection and disposal services as well as stormwater management. The City of Dania Beach Public Services Department provides water service to over 30,000 permanent residents and thousands of seasonal residents and visitors each year.
